The problem
Each app had rebuilt file handling its own way. Big uploads streamed through app servers, access rules didn't match, and nobody knew how much storage anything used.
What I did
The client gets a presigned URL and uploads straight to S3, so no large file passes through the API. Processing runs on BullMQ, and short-lived signed URLs mean access can be revoked without moving anything.
